I'm obsessed with paper. I love it. I collect it. I swoon over it in art supply stores. And so in my daily paper hunting I've rediscovered a paper I used during my university years and have decided to abandon Arches Textwove for Frankfurt! Now, I know those names may not mean anything to you, but you will see the difference. Frankfurt is such an elegant paper with subtle wavy lines and a smooth finish. It's beautiful. It will make your wedding guest book beautiful. I promise. Order one for yourself and see!
In my opinion, there is nothing better than letter press. And Smock comes to me highly recommended. Try it out!
Once your wedding is all said and done the food is gone, so are the flowers, so are the guests. But a few things remain: your new spouse, your wedding guest book and the photos your photographer took. Since it's your wedding, I'm assuming you love your spouse and since you are at my website you will have a beautiful guest book (wink wink). So I thought I'd let you admire one of my favorite photographers. Introducing... Bethany Jackman. All you brides out there in The West - call her.
I just finished a book that I fell in love with. Instead of using fabric on the cover, I found a beautiful handmade paper with pressed ferns in it. The olive drab waxed linen thread was the perfect match for the binding. Inside the guest book is blank.
Simple and gorgeous!
I'm taking some time out of the studio to welcome our new baby! So, all orders placed between Monday April 14, 2008 and Monday May 12, 2008 will not be processed until Tuesday May 13, 2008.
Plan ahead so you can get your guest book ordered in time for your special event. Don't foget to contact me with questions...
